Program summary
The Global Skills Employers Want. The Certificate to Prove You Have Them.
Global EDGE is a structured 6-week leadership development program for students and early-career professionals who want to lead confidently across cultures, teams, and professional contexts. Some participants come with a study abroad or international experience behind them. Others come to build global competency for the first time. Global EDGE is designed for both.
The program is aligned with NACE Career Competencies and the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs framework. Every module integrates reflection, career mapping, and applied scenario work, culminating in a Leadership Action Plan and a DA Global-issued certificate that documents demonstrated competency.
For career offices and global education programs: Global EDGE delivers a structured, measurable program with outcomes you can report and a certificate your students can use. Every participant enters with a documented baseline and exits with verified evidence of growth.

Turning Global Experience Into Career Impact
Global experiences matter. But, they don’t automatically translate into career readiness.
Employers want cross-cultural communication, adaptability, and leadership across difference. Research consistently shows that students can develop these skills through global learning, yet many struggle to articulate what they gained or how it applies to their future careers. Without structured reflection and guidance, even high-impact experiences can remain disconnected from professional goals.
Global EDGE was designed to close this gap, both for students translating an international experience into career language, and for those building global competencies for the first time.
